This Privacy Policy describes how GD UNIVERSAL INC (“Fuel Planner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a New York corporation with its principal place of business at 2440 East 29th Street, Apt 6R, Brooklyn, NY 11235, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Fuel Planner mobile application, admin dashboard, and related services (the “Services”).

1. Who this applies to

Fuel Planner is a business fleet tool. Drivers typically access the mobile app after their company adds their phone number to an approved list. Fleet owners and admins use the web dashboard.

2. Information we collect

  • Account & contact: phone number (driver mobile login via one-time SMS codes), email and name (fleet admin accounts), company name, and related profile fields.
  • Location: precise location when you grant permission. While navigating, the app may use location in the background (“Always”) to provide turn-by-turn guidance, arrival alerts, and related trip features. We may store trip origin/destination coordinates and fuel-stop confirmation coordinates.
  • Vehicle & fuel data: vehicle identity, fuel level, and related telematics obtained through your company’s connected fleet systems (for example, Samsara) via our servers—not sold as advertising data.
  • Trip & usage data: planned and completed trips, fuel stops, driver fuel confirmations, app activity such as whether the app is in the foreground, device/app diagnostics needed to operate the Service, and similar operational logs.
  • Communications: SMS one-time passcodes for login only; support emails you send us.

3. How we use information

  • Authenticate drivers and admins and enforce company access lists
  • Plan fuel stops, routes, and navigation experiences
  • Show live or recent vehicle/fuel context for authorized users
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services
  • Provide support and comply with law

We do not sell your personal information and do not use the mobile app for third-party advertising tracking.

4. How we share information

  • Your company: fleet owners/admins can see driver phones on their roster and operational trip/fuel data tied to their company.
  • Service providers: processors that help us run the Services, including authentication and messaging (e.g. Firebase / Google), databases and backend (e.g. Supabase), maps and navigation (e.g. Mapbox), fleet telematics connectors (e.g. Samsara, when your company connects them), hosting (e.g. Vercel), and SMS delivery for login codes.
  • Legal: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

5. Location permission

The driver app requests location access to plan stops and navigate. When you start navigation, you may be asked for continuous (“Always”) location so guidance and stop alerts can work with the screen locked or the app in the background. You can change location permissions in iOS Settings. Denying location may limit or disable core features.

6. Retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide the Services to your company, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Operational trip records may be retained for fleet reporting even after a driver leaves, in anonymized or company-owned form where appropriate.

7. Account deletion

Drivers can delete their account from the Fuel Planner mobile app (account / connection settings → Delete account). That removes their approved-phone access and Firebase login and deletes or anonymizes personal driver data we control as described in the in-app flow. Fleet admins can also remove a phone from the company roster in the dashboard. For help, email support@fuelplanner-os.com.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to a cloud fleet product. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. International users

We primarily serve U.S. commercial fleets. If you access the Services from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will post the revised version with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
